There is one double bedroom and a second bedroom that can sleep up to two adults and one child. The kitchen area has a refrigerator with a small chiller compartment, a 4-ring gas hob and adequate electrical points. The seating area can be used as additional sleeping space. Inventory is provided for 6 people. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and WC. All bedroom windows are fitted with mosquito nets. Comfortable garden furniture with table, seats, parasol, two sun loungers and a barbecue (if permitted by the campsite) are situated outside the mobile home. For 2010, some Standard mobile homes will be fitted with terraces and/or gazebos to make the most of the outside space available (see individual site pages). This terraced campsite offers a dramatic 180° panorama over the sea and its ideal position ensures that day trips to Palermo, Cefalù and, further a field, to Mount Etna, are easily possible. With ample sporting facilities and animation, there is also plenty to do on site ? however, a day passed at the pool with views overlooking this most spectacular of coastlines is definitely a day well spent! Position: Located 80km from Palermo and easily accessible from both Catania and Messina, just 8km from the exit to the Messina-Palermo motorway. Cefalù, a major Sicilian tourist attraction with the extensive remains of a Saracen castle perched at the summit of its promontory, is a beautiful, lively town with much to offer ? helping even further to enhance this campsites? enviable position. Peculiarities: The campsite organise horse riding excursions into the Madonnine National Park. Also available, directly from the campsite, is car, scooter, motorbike or bicycle hire (with special discount) and of excursions throughout Sicily. Train station is also close by. Beach: Direct access to a small, shale beach with larger, sandy beaches just 2km away. Services: Reception, Restaurant&pizzeria with panoramic terrace, bar, animation, baby area, small market (supermarket 500m), games room, library, 5-a-side football, volleyball, animation (reduced in low season). Payed Services: Laundry, tennis courts, diving school, horse riding (300m), professional Diving centre with Scuba diving, rental of dinghies and canoes , snorkelling, boat excursions, under water guided swimming, sailing and diving.
